Devdas is a 2002 Indian sentimental acting piece filmdirected by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and dependent upon the 1917 Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay novella Devdas. This is the third Hindi variant and the first film form of the story in Hindi completed in colour.

The film accompanies Devdas (Shahrukh Khan), a rich law graduate, who comes back from his studies in London to wed his adolescence sweetheart, Paro (Aishwarya Rai). Be that as it may, the dismissal of this marriage by his family starts his drop into liquor, at last prompting his enthusiastic crumbling.
